Queen Elizabeth the Second

Hartley Wespall Parish Council joins the nation in mourning the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second. On behalf of the Parish, the Chairman will write a letter of condolence to Buckingham Palace. In addition a Book of Condolence will be available in the church from Sunday evening for anyone wishing to sign.
The Book of Condolence will be removed on Tuesday 20th September.
A short proclamation ceremony will be held in the churchyard at 1800 hrs on Sunday 11th September to which everyone is welcome.
For anyone wishing to leave a floral tribute, we suggest that this be done under the tree on the grass triangle at the junction with Mill Lane.
