Update on Solar Farm works

I just thought I would update you on what is required to complete the project to connect the new Solar Park off Bar Lane to the electricity sub station on Sherfield Road. The project had to stop some months ago pending changes to the design and subsequent permissions necessary to complete the project. This has now been resolved and the final stage of this scheme is due to start this week with the delivery of materials and next week in Old Reading Road when we directionally drill under the river Loddon. All of the work including all jointing and final reinstatements should be completed within 8 weeks.

Following completion of our works we will arrange with the local highway inspector to undertake a walk through to identify any remedial works required to the existing roads and verges caused by our works.
